I am a non-vegetarian and when my vegetarian friends come to my place, they find it smelly. I try to maintain utmost hygiene by washing all the dishes with strong detergents and also using perfumed cleaner for cleaning the floors and sinks. I also spray freshener but it feels bad if my friends complain of smell. I would like to know some easy ways for keeping the house looking and smelling fresh. Read More...Hi,
See that the kitchen windows are open or switch on the exhaust fan on while cooking. Good ventilation should keep off fumes and smell from spreading onto rest of the house. Clean ur dustbin, wash clothes etc and sun dry them. Place some camphor or napthelin *** in the rooms.
I place camphor in the curtain folds or near the windows this not only emits good smell but also keeps the house fresh. Lighting a pleasant incense stick also works.
